Katy DeZellar is a photographer based out of the Twin Cities, Minnesota. Since she could walk, she has had a passion for photography and has fostered this love in her education and career. DeZellar creates photographs that focus on a range of concepts, with particular interest in environments and site-specific interventions in the landscape. Her work has been featured in a number of exhibitions in the United States. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a BFA in Art and Design and minors in Art History and Religious Studies. Along with her work being in exhibitions, she has also been involved in public art projects, collaborations, and multiple clubs on campus. She also has a passion for motion pictures, where she brings in her art background to do production design for films. Over the years, she has traveled abroad five times and loves to learn about different cultures. In her free time, she loves to sew, knit, watch movies, garden, and play board games.
